Being a stay at home mother is hard work. When Wayne goes off to the office he has no idea all I do to raise little Erica. She can be a huge handful now that she’s walking and grabbing everything she can put her hands on. Of course, some of the day she naps and suddenly all the chaos turns to downtime. I’ve developed a big internet habit because of that.

It’s really a whole lot of fun reading someone else’s Mom Blog. I barely update my own, but other women are much more prolific and I can relate to all the things they’re going through. I find it easier to comment on their blogs, and swap tips and stories than update my own anymore. It’s really interesting that today those mothering their children can get this wider discussion going at once online.

When my mother was taking care of me she could probably just talk to one or two friends on the phone. Now it’s like you can meet people from all over the world you can relate to!
